Getting started

Stream Bounty is a Twitch extension for playing bingo with your viewers. Each viewer gets a card, and the game is played by what happens on your stream: when an event on the card happens, you call it and viewers mark it off. Everything you need to start is on this page.

  1. Add the extension

Add Stream Bounty to your channel from Twitch, then activate it in your Creator Dashboard as an overlay, a component or a panel. It works in all three, and on Twitch’s mobile apps.

If activating it seems to hang, switch browser: this happens in Firefox and other browsers that aren’t based on Chromium. Chrome and Edge work.

  2. Run the setup wizard

Open the extension’s configuration. The first time, a wizard takes you through:

    • Connecting your Twitch account, so Stream Bounty can read your channel point rewards, followers, subscriptions and banned users. Automations and channel point rewards need this.
    • Choosing your usual game mode. There are four; see Game modes.
    • Writing your first event set: the things that happen on your stream. See Events.
    • Adding Stream Bounty to your broadcast.

You can skip the wizard and set everything up by hand, or run it again later from the menu.

  3. Start a game

In your Stream Manager, open the Stream Bounty Quick Action (add it if it isn’t there). Choose the game’s settings and the events to play with, then create the game. It starts straight away.

  4. Let your viewers in

Viewers press Join Game in the extension and get a card of their own. From there, see Running a game for your side and Playing for theirs.
