Events and event sets
An event is something that might happen on your stream: “Got raided”, “Dies to the first boss”, “Blames lag”. An event set is a group of them. When you start a game, events from the sets you choose are placed at random on each viewer’s card.
Make an event set
Section titled “Make an event set”Open Event Configuration in the extension’s configuration and add an event set. Give it a name and enter its events.
- Group events however suits you: a set per game you play, one for things chat does, one for your own habits.
- When you start a game you can pick events from any of your sets, so there’s no need to repeat an event in more than one set.
- An Individual Events game needs at least 25 events between the sets you pick.
Change a set
Section titled “Change a set”In Event Configuration you can:
- Rename a set, or an event.
- Reorder events by dragging them.
- Bulk edit a set’s events as a list of text. This is the quick way to paste in a long list, copy events to another set or rearrange a big one.
- Clone a set, to use one as the starting point for another.
- Delete a set. This cannot be undone, and the set’s events go with it.
Let someone else look after your events
Section titled “Let someone else look after your events”You can make other Twitch users event set managers, who can edit your event sets for you. See Who can run your games.
Events that call themselves
Section titled “Events that call themselves”An event can be tied to something Twitch can count, such as new followers or bits, and call itself when the count is reached. See Automations.
