Stream widgets

Widgets put the game on your stream itself. Each one is a browser source that you add to your streaming software and place wherever suits your layout. They work with OBS, Streamlabs, StreamElements and anything else that takes a browser source.

Widget What it shows
Toasts An alert when a game starts or ends, when a voting round starts or ends, and when an event is called
Winners A special alert for each winner
Extra Card A special alert whenever a player gets an extra card with bits
Bingo Board The full list of numbers in a classic bingo board, for numbers games
Confetti Confetti cannons when a player gets bingo
Fireworks Fireworks when a player gets bingo
  1. Open Stream Content in the extension’s configuration. Each widget has a preview.
  2. Drag the widget straight onto your OBS scene, or click it to copy its URL and add a browser source with that URL yourself.
  3. Move and size it in your scene.

Widgets only show something when it happens in a game, which makes them hard to place. Turn on Enable Test Mode in Stream Content and every widget shows placeholder content, so you can see where it will appear. Turn it off again before you go live.

There are two sizes to a browser source, and they do different things:

  • The source’s own size, in its Properties (right-click the source, then Properties, then Width and Height). This is the canvas the widget draws on. If a widget looks cut off, make this wider.
  • How big it appears in your scene, which you change by dragging the source’s corners.

If you run Stream Bounty as a video overlay, alerts and fireworks are not drawn over your stream by the extension. The widgets do that job, so that you choose where they go.
