Game modes

You pick a game mode each time you create a game. Set the one you use most as your default in Game Settings.

Mode What’s on the cards How things get called
Individual Events Events from your event sets You call each event when it happens on stream
Classic Numbers - Called by Events Numbers Each time one of your events is called, a random number comes up
Classic Numbers - Called Randomly Numbers You press a button to call a random number whenever you like
Classic Numbers - Called Manually Numbers You call each number yourself. Good with a real bingo cage

What each mode needs before you can play:

  • Individual Events needs at least 25 events, enough to fill a five by five card. The more events you play with, the longer a game usually runs before somebody wins.
  • Called by Events needs at least one event to do the calling. An event can call more than once, with a new number each time, so “a new sub” or “every 5 follows” work well.
  • Called Randomly and Called Manually need no events at all.
  • Number of bingo balls. For the numbers modes: 30, 40, 50, 60, 70, 75 or 80.
  • Free space. Puts a space in the middle of every card that is already marked when the game starts.
  • Bingo patterns. Choose which patterns win from a set of presets. Players can see the patterns for the game from their card.
  • Subscribers only. Limits the game to your subscribers. You and your superusers can always join. For this to work, turn on the “This extension can view my subscriptions list” permission for Stream Bounty in your Creator Dashboard.

Set your usual choices as defaults in Game Settings, and new games start with them filled in.

A game runs until you end it, so you decide how many winners there are. In Game Settings you can also have games end by themselves two hours after your stream ends. That needs your Twitch account to be linked.
